A Comparative study to Evaluate the Efficacy of Supervised Exercise Program and Cyriax Physiotherapy on Pain and Function in Lateral Epicondylitis

Background: Lateral epicondylitis is a musculotendinous degenerative disease of the extensors originthat occurs at humerus lateral epicondyle. Various methodologies treatment are utilized in theboard epicondylitis.Objectives: The study will investigate efficacy supervised exercise programme and cyriaxphysiotherapy on refinement pain functional within patients.Methods: Participants (n=30) with Epicondylitis (tennis elbow) shall be recruited to participatein comparative experimental study. Subjects randomized 1:1 either (1) Supervised ExerciseProgramme group, or (2) Cyriax Physiotherapy group. Over 4-week time period, 3 times weekfor total 12 sessions, subjects group receive ExtensorCarpi Radialis Brevis muscle’s static stretching along wrist extensor’s eccentric strengtheningand Ultrasound. While those cyriax physiotherapy transverse deep frictionmassage for 10 min instantly amid by Mill’s manipulation/manoeuvre Thestudy conclude 4 weeks.Discussion: Effectiveness interventions improvement beassessed VAS (visual analogue scale) Tennis Elbow Function Scale (TEFS) respectively. Thefindings greatly contribute evidence utilization exerciseprogramme therefore tennis elbow condition.Conclusion: After statistical analysis results, final statements regarding conclusion ofwhich approaches effective made.
